It's a collage of 3 piece paintings, depicting the courtyard of an old heritage building. This was a residence for a family once now converted into a hotel. While passing by the main doors I just had a glimpse of vibrant blue walls, which was irresistible to not to go inside. I have recreated that memory in these three paintings.
A rhythmic flow of sun and shade falling over the walls connects these three artwork together. There is a sequence in the arrangement, which defines the direction of sun from left highlighting the walls, climbers and bougainvillea with pink flowers in the corner. The complimentary yellow on the verandas wall has added the spectacular interest.
